Happy 4th of July

We had a great time ... spent the day at the lake with Mr. Yarn Girl's side of the family.  Good times catching up with the nieces and nephews and their kids.  None of our kids were there which was too bad ... it's fun to have all the cousins get together.

Nobody wanted to water ski, although the little kids went out for a bit on the tube.  We probably won't stay up for fireworks.  They don't start until 11 pm here.  Great-gramma was there.  I thought they were crazy to carry her and her wheelchair down to the lake (and she didn't look all that thrilled about it either), but I guess they felt since almost everybody was outside she would want to be also.  It was a little chilly for her (75 degrees), but perfect for everybody else.  Well, except for the lake temperature being about 62 degrees.  Which may explain why nobody was interested in water skiing.
